Yvette Segovia
Meet Yvette Segovia is a dedicated swim instructor committed to teaching children essential life-saving skills through the specialized survival swim method. With a heart for families and water safety, she strives to build confidence, strength, and lifelong skills in every child she teaches.
Her mission: Turning strong swimmers into confident survivors, one child at a time.
With a profound love for working with kids, Yvette believes that learning to swim is not just about mastering strokes but also about building confidence and ensuring safety in the water. Her teaching philosophy centers around creating a nurturing and encouraging environment where each child can thrive, feel comfortable, and develop a lifelong love for swimming.
Yvette's training has equipped her with effective techniques and strategies to teach survival swimming, ensuring that her students are well-prepared for any aquatic situation. She is committed to tailoring her lessons to meet the unique needs of each child, fostering their growth from hesitant beginners to confident swimmers.
Outside of the pool, Yvette enjoys advocating for water safety in her community and exploring new swimming methods to enhance her skills. With Yvette Segovia as your swim instructor, children will embark on an exciting and empowering journey toward becoming safe and confident swimmers!
Our Lessons
Providing Swim Lessons to children ages 6 months and up -
in the Corpus Christi, Portland, & Calallen TX areas.
Survival Swim Lessons
$125 per week
Approximately 6 weeks.
This is the first step for every new child entering our program. Swimmers are gently guided through essential, life-saving survival skills, including: Independent floating Breath control Reaching for the pool wall Climbing out safely at the wall and steps
Continued Development
Continued Development is designed for swimmers who need additional time beyond the initial 6–8 week program to fully strengthen and master their survival skills. Every child progresses at their own pace and we’re here to support them every step of the way as they become confident, prepared, and water-wise.
Enrollment & Fees
Annual Enrollment $99 per student (non-refundable, non-transferable)

Each enrollment also includes the Safe & Strong Starter Kit, which contains:

Family Enrollment Incentive
First child: $99 enrollment
Each additional sibling: $50 enrollment
Applies when siblings are enrolled together during the same season
Returning Student Re-Enrollment - $50 per student
If the first week’s tuition ($125) is paid on or before the student’s start date, the re-enrollment fee will be credited toward tuition
Referral Credit
You receive a $25 lesson credit
Referred family receives a $25 lesson credit
Applied toward tuition after enrollment.
